Throughout her clinical work, Fatima has been actively involved in treatment planning, psychological assessment, and multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers. Her approach emphasizes careful case formulation, measurable progress, and ethical, client-centered care.
In parallel with her clinical practice, Fatima has a strong background in psychological research. She has served as a Graduate Research Assistant at AUB, contributing to quantitative and qualitative research on mental health, parental practices, personality, and sociocultural factors in Lebanon. Her master’s thesis examined the role of treatment engagement in mental health outcomes, reflecting her commitment to improving both the effectiveness and accessibility of psychological care.
Fatima also brings valuable experience in crisis intervention and suicide prevention, having worked as a Lifeline Operator with Embrace, Lebanon’s National Emotional Support and Suicide Prevention Hotline. This experience has further reinforced her ability to provide calm, structured, and supportive care in high-risk and emotionally intense situations.
With a professional, empathetic, and structured therapeutic style, Fatima creates a safe and collaborative space where clients can understand their challenges, develop practical coping strategies, and work toward lasting psychological well-being. Her work is defined by clinical rigor, ethical practice, and a strong commitment to evidence-based mental health care.
