Dima Hakim is a clinical psychology trainee currently completing her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at the American University of Beirut (AUB). She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from AUB, where she developed a strong academic foundation in psychological science, clinical practice, and mental health research.
Dima is currently undertaking supervised clinical training at the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC), where she participates in clinical assessments, case formulation, and therapeutic interventions under the supervision of licensed clinical psychologists. Her training includes multidisciplinary collaboration in outpatient mental health settings, with a strong emphasis on ethics, confidentiality, and professional clinical conduct.
Alongside formal clinical training, Dima has experience in psychological first aid, mental health and psychosocial support (MHPSS), and community-based emotional support, having worked closely with licensed psychologists and mental health teams in both volunteer and service-mapping contexts. Her research experience includes contributing to a systematic review on the implementation of Mental Health and Psychosocial Support interventions in humanitarian settings, reflecting a strong interest in evidence-based mental healthcare.
At Cognitive Analytica, Dima provides supervised psychological support under licensed clinical supervision, offering thoughtful, ethical, and client-centered care grounded in evidence-based psychological practice.
